First Trip To Build-A-Bear

A couple of days after Kasyn's birthday, we took her and Teig to Build-A-Bear for their first time. Kasyn chose this unicorn which she named Darkness Jewel and has since changed to Rosalind. For about a month she took her everywhere with her and now poor "DJ" sits in a basket at the foot of her bed.

If you can't tell, this is them standing out in front of the store. The kids had no idea why I was taking a picture of them there.

They let them choose hearts and they had to rub them on their heads, ears, eyes and mouths.

When they got the stuffing put in them, they got to give them baths and brush and groom them.

Teig chose this puppy which was originally named "Celery" and has since been changed to "Scruffy Puppy". Now scruffy puppy Kasyn has decided that she likes him even more than the unicorn and sometimes Teig lets her sleep with his puppy. What a great job at sharing.

Now every time we go to the mall they always ask if we can go to Build-A-Bear, to which I tell them, "maybe next year".
